Connecting to AWS VPN- Windows
We have updated our AWS VPN to now support MFA authentication. Please follow the steps below to setup the new configuration for AWS VPN.
Important Notes
- VPNs are required to access SAXX services such as F-Drive, LogOn, Qlik, and others.
- VPNs should also be used while traveling or using public wifi to maintain secure connections.
- VPNs should not be used when connected to Corporate Wifi as it may cause issues.

AWS VPN - Windows
- Proceed to the following link and download the new AWS config file: AWS-VPN-MFA.ovpn

- In computers search type ' AWS VPN ' and click on it to open it. Note: if you don't see AWS VPN in your search submit a Helpdesk ticket and we will install it for you.
- Once the AWS VPN client is open you will see the following screen (image below).
- Click on File -> Manage Profiles -> Add Profile

Display Name: SAXX Backup VPN

VPN Configuration File: Browse to where you saved the config you downloaded in Step 1 (most likely downloads folder) select the AWS-Azure-MFA.ovpn file. Once that's all done click ' Add Profile '.
- You should now the see the profile you created and be able to connect (image below).
- Hit ' Connect '. It will open a browser to allow you sign-in with your Microsoft credentials and prompt you for MFA. Once you have approved the prompt you will be connected (image below).
