MAC Users: WiFi Automatically Connecting to SAXX Guest Rather Than Saxx Corporate
If you are using a Macbook Pro laptop, you may notice that sometimes when you are in the office (either in Vancouver or Portland) that it will automatically connect you to SAXX Guest rather than SAXX Corporate. While on SAXX Guest you may experience slower internet speeds and are unable to access some company resources (e.g. F: drive/server and the Ricoh printer). To resolve this issue, have your laptop connect to SAXX Corporate automatically instead:

Click on the Apple icon on the top-left of the top-navigation bar then click on 'System Preferences'. The System Preferences window will open.
- In the System Preferences window, click on 'Network'.
- In the 'Network' window, click on the yellow-lock icon on the bottom left to unlock the settings. It will then prompt you to enter admin credentials. If your user account on the computer is not set as an admin account, your credentials will not work. If your login credentials do not work, please contact helpdesk@saxxunderwear.com and we will remote into your computer and enter our admin credentials.
- Once the yellow lock has been unlocked, click on 'Wi-Fi' on the networks list on the left-hand side then click on the 'Advanced' button.
- In the Advanced Wi-Fi settings window, you will see a list of 'Preferred Networks' which has the history all the Wi-Fi networks that you have previously connected to with the computer. Look for 'SAXX Corporate' and make sure it is the first one on the list so it will prioritize the 'SAXX Corporate' Wi-Fi network over 'SAXX Guest'. Additionally, you can completely remove 'SAXX Guest' from your Wi-Fi list as you should not be connecting to 'SAXX Guest' anyways.
Leave all other settings as-is and click on 'Ok'.
- You will now be sent back to the main 'Network' settings window. Click on 'Apply' to confirm the changes. Now your computer should automatically connect to 'SAXX Corporate' rather than 'SAXX Guest'.
